The Melia Cayo Santa Maria Hotel is a popular and charming Cuban resort located directly on a pristine sandy beach on the island of Cayo Santa Maria and approximately 116 km form the Santa Clara airport.

It covers an area of 12,000 m² with extensive facilities for families, an excellent Yhi Spa in a beautiful natural setting, and a Club Cubamigos where our youngest guests will have great fun.

Travel costs will range based on the seasonality.  Lowest rates, excluding hurricane season, are often found in November and early December. Good winter pricing can be found in January & April, with the highest rates occuring over holidays (ie. Christmas, New Years, March Break) as well as the peak winter month of February. 

If you have never been married previously:
Valid Passports & Tourist cards

If either the bride or groom has been married previously (in addition to the above):

Birth certificates + Divorce Certificate and/or Marriage Certificate & Death Certificate if widowed

Birth certificates + any divorce/marriage/death documents must be translated into Spanish, certified by a notary public + legalized by the Cuban consul in Canada (service fee applies)

Additionally:

Your marriage will be formalized in your name as it appears on your passport. Therefore, your passport must be correct, and the name on your passport must match that on all your other documents.

After your wedding, your Marriage Certificate will be legalized by the Canadian Embassy in Havana and the Cuban Foreign Affairs department and sent to you.

Free wedding packages are available, as well as very affordable upgrades ranging from $500-1680 CUC.

Packages includes semi-private dinner arrangements, however, luxury package will include a private cocktail party.   Completely private events and extra services such as music, flowers, and activities can be added for an additional fee.
