If you're looking for an adults only atmosphere for your wedding, then consider choosing an adults only resort.  Not only does it save any uncomfortable drama and questions with why you're not inviting kids (Pretty self-explanatory!) it also allows your friends and family a chance to enjoy some worry-free adult time away from home. When considering your choices, know that there are three different types of adult oriented resorts. 

The first type is the resort which requires guests to be a minimum of 18 years and over.  No exceptions.

Second is the complex that offers multiple resorts in one location, in varying degrees of standards, one being for adults only.  Guests staying at the family resort next door do not have access to the adult property, and only adults may attend the wedding. This is a great option if you wish for an adult vacation, and adult only wedding, but don't mind if your guests bring their kids and don't spend the entire week with you.

The last option would be a property that offers an "adult-only" block of rooms, beach & pool area, but is otherwise open to children.  This isn't a true adult experience as children are only restricted from these areas, so best to avoid this type of resort if you prefer a kid-free wedding event.

Travel Costs
Travel costs will range based on the seasonality.  Lowest rates, excluding hurricane season, are often found in November and early December. Good winter pricing can be found in January & April, with the highest rates occuring over holidays (ie. Christmas, New Years, March Break) as well as the peak winter month of February. 

Getting Married in Jamaica

The Requirements
Visitors to Jamaica can be married 24 hours after arriving provided that prior application has been made for a marriage license.

The following requirements apply to getting married in Jamaica:

• Proof of citizenship by providing a certified copy of the birth certificate of each party containing the father’s name.
• Parent’s written consent if a party is under 18 years of age.
• Proof of divorce if applicable (original certificate of divorce).
• Certified copy of a death certificate for widows or widowers.
• Only a marriage officer licensed in Jamaica can legally marry a couple. An officiant of the couple’s choice may conduct the ceremony, but a local marriage officer must be present to sign the marriage form and make the official marriage pronouncement. Marriage officers can also provide witnesses for the ceremony.

You must send a copy of your legal documents to your Jamaican wedding planner at least sixty days before your arrival in Jamaica. The wedding coordinator will use these documents to apply for your marriage license. 

Wedding Packages

Overview
Iberostar Grand Rose Hall offers six wedding packages, Star, Morning Star, Jamaican Bliss, Silver Star, Gold Star, and the Grand Celebration.

Packages include a varying number of people, ranging from 10-30 guests, with always the option of adding extra guests for a fee. 

All packages include the basic ceremony set-up, bouquet and cake, along with semi-private dinner arrangements. 

The Grand Celebration will include up to 30 guests, with upgraded decor, along with private cocktail and dinner reception.
